Please lift up Grace Murphy’s son, Tim, in your prayers. He is currently in the ICU receiving treatment for a tumor in his intestines.
Pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors as they determine the best course of action,
and for God’s peace to surround Jim and Grace during this difficult time.

Please pray for JoAnn Ward’s brother, Michael Gomez, he recently suffered a stroke that has affected the left side of his body. He is currently unable to walk and is also experiencing difficulty with his speech. Pray not only for his physical healing but, more importantly, for the restoration of his faith and that the Lord would meet him right where he is and draw him close during this time.

UPDATE: Our granddaughter, Lily, is scheduled for surgery on October 24. This is for a G-tube in her stomach to receive anti rejection drugs after her kidney transplant surgery. This is needed so she won’t throw up these drugs.
There is also an issue that Cheryl and I weren’t aware of. Lily was born with a leak in her heart valves. They were hoping this would close up before this surgery. If not, they can’t do the surgery yet. Next Tuesday they will check to see if this has closed up. If not, they will have to wait for this surgery and the transplant surgery could be delayed. It will take about 6-8 weeks after this surgery to completely heal before she can have the transplant surgery.
While healing she will have to have blood dialysis through her veins and not water dialysis until the surgery on her stomach heals. This means she will need to be at UCSF in San Francisco for much of the healing time.
Please pray all goes well so they can proceed with her kidney transplant without delay. Thanks again for continued prayer!
- Tim & Cheryl Daniel
